What is the difference between editing and mixing?
Editing decides what stays and in what order. Mixing decides how what is left sounds together. Most of our work includes both, which is why we quote on the finished deliverable rather than by the step.
Can you rescue audio recorded on a phone?
Often, yes. Phone recordings are usually usable once the room noise is dealt with. The two things that cannot be undone are clipping and heavy compression already baked into the file.
