Podcast Audio Editing

Clean, level-matched, mastered podcast audio — the version listeners never notice.

From $45 per episode24–48 hours per episode

Good podcast audio is invisible. Nobody finishes an episode thinking about the mix; they just do not reach for the volume slider, and they do not switch off three minutes in because one voice is twice as loud as the other.

We take raw multitrack recordings and return a mastered episode: noise gone, room gone, everyone at the same level, music sitting under speech instead of on top of it.

Every episode is delivered at the loudness standard your platform expects, so it sounds right next to the show that plays after yours.

What’s included

  • Noise and hum removal

Air conditioning, computer fans, mains hum and street noise.

  • De-reverb

Reduces the hollow sound of a room that was never meant for recording.

  • Level matching

Every speaker at a consistent level across the whole episode.

  • Loudness mastering

-16 LUFS stereo for podcast platforms, adjusted on request.

  • Filler and mistake removal

Ums, false starts and long gaps taken out without making speech sound clipped.

Before & after

Hear the difference

Listen to the gaps between sentences. That is where most of this work happens — and it is the part nobody notices until it is missing.

Straight off the recorder — room, hum and uneven levels.

Podcast Audio Editing — common questions

Can you save a recording made in a bad room?

Usually a great deal of it. De-reverb and noise reduction have improved enormously. What cannot be fixed is a recording that clipped on the way in — that distortion is baked into the file.

What loudness do you deliver at?

-16 LUFS stereo, which is what Apple Podcasts and Spotify expect. Tell us if you need something different and we will match it.

Do you remove every "um"?

Not every one. Stripping all of them makes people sound robotic. We take out the ones that trip the listener up and leave the ones that sound like speech.
