Podcast Editing Services — common questions
How long does podcast editing take?
A standard interview episode is back with you in 48 to 72 hours. Shows on a fixed weekly slot usually settle into a faster rhythm once we know the format, and rush delivery is available when a release date moves.
What files do you need from me?
Separate audio tracks per speaker wherever possible, plus the video files if it is a video podcast. Separate tracks matter more than any other single thing — they are what let us fix one person’s audio without touching everyone else’s.
Do you edit both audio and video podcasts?
Yes, and usually both for the same show. Audio-only and video podcasts need different decisions, so they are edited as two deliverables rather than one export with the picture removed.
Can you match an existing show’s style?
Send two or three recent episodes you are happy with. We work from those rather than from a written brief — style is much easier to hear than to describe.
How much does podcast editing cost?
It depends on episode length, number of speakers and how many clips you need. Most weekly shows land between $45 and $180 an episode. Send one real episode and we will quote against it rather than guessing.
